How AxisRemedy handles it

Tested by the app. AxisRemedy tests this condition itself. For each document it records passed, failed or not applicable, and for every failure the object and the page.

What the check covers

An annotation whose /Subtype is not one of those ISO 32000-1 defines (Text, Link, FreeText, Line, Square, Circle, Polygon, PolyLine, Highlight, Underline, Squiggly, StrikeOut, Stamp, Caret, Ink, Popup, FileAttachment, Sound, Movie, Widget, Screen, PrinterMark, TrapNet, Watermark, 3D).

Repairs that target it

• Remove TrapNet and undefined-subtype annotations

Repairs are optional. The few that could change how a page looks, such as embedding a missing font, need your explicit consent.
