Fix PDF accessibility problems on your own computer
AxisRemedy checks PDFs against the Matterhorn Protocol and repairs the structure problems a machine can safely repair. The desktop app works offline: your documents never leave your computer.
The online check sends the file to our server. For private documents, use the desktop app.
Pre-release. AxisRemedy is being tested on real documents; the macOS app is in testing. Nothing on this site is a promise of conformance.
What it covers today
AxisRemedy tests 87 of the 137 failure conditions itself. 31 more are left for a person to judge, but the app screens them and lists places to look at. 17 are left for a person with no automatic screening, and 2 have no test of their own in the protocol.
